There are some people you meet who are so incredibly passionate about what they do and their enthusiasm is contagious. Marta Larsson is one of these people. A self-made jewellery designer, Marta’s pieces are all made by hand, no two being the same. All of her pieces feature raw unpolished stones, her favourite medium to work with.
The collection includes varying lengths, shapes and sizes of necklaces, earrings and bracelets made from gold and silver chains, featuring different rock types, like big chunks of pyrite and jagged pieces of Amethyst.
Something I love about her work is her system of naming each range. ‘Names like ‘Bondage’ and ‘Not a pearl necklace’ and ‘Juicy Lucy’ show her personality and sense of humour.
At the moment you can see a sample of her collection at Nicholas James on Hatton Garden in London, and you can also browse th pieces on her newly launched website.
