Steve Qua is a massive football fan. So much so that he makes hand linocut prints of every Liverpool FC match result. Now his hand printed results service extends to the World Cup scores. A lot of love goes into these prints. And they’re so beautiful.
September marked my first ever trip to NYC. I’d been to New York State before but never to the capital*, and I really loved it. I came back to London and instantly declared love. Shortly there after, a good friend of mine got me a Thanksgiving gift: a limited edition print of the Brooklyn Bridge re-imagined in type. The poster was a project on Kickstarter when anyone anywhere could back the idea, and in exchange for pledging cash towards the project, the donor would receive one of the prints. Mine arrived on Friday and it’s rather beautiful.

Following the success of 23 Posters, Do The Green Thing have decided to release a new on each week. This week’s is ‘Lights Out” by design Studio Hudson Powell and is by a mile my favourite of the collection. So sweet.
The Sunday Times Style Magazine celebrated it’s tenth anniversary this weekend with a lovely press and poster campaign and a special issue of Style in today’s paper.
I love this. Both the words and the ‘stitched’ typography. Probably even enough to start reading the Times ..
